Conover 7T02

FFKM perfluoroelastomers handle a wide range of chemical resistance and high temperature requirements.  Perfluoroelastomers are a terpolymer of perfluoromethylvinyl ether (PMVE), tetrafluoroethylene(TEF) and a cure site monomer(CSM).  With perfluoroelastomers, the hydrogen atoms have been replaced  with fluorine, creating a strong bond between the fluorine and the carbon atoms.  This makes this compound extremely chemically resistant and strong.  The lack of double bonds in the backbone of the molecule leaves no place for ozone, UV light, oxygen and harsh chemicals to attack and break down the molecule.  C.E. Conover has the capability of producing custom shapes as well as established tooling on most ASTM o-ring sizes.
